Background
Karen was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri at Columbia, where she earned a B.A. in History and her law degree. While in law school, Mrs. Rosenberg was a member of the Missouri Law Review. She began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Jack Pritchard of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District. Today she concentrates her practice in the area of adoptions, including private adoptions, agency adoptions, step-parent adoptions, interstate adoptions, second-parent adoptions, and same-sex adoptions.
Her practice also includes matters involving assisted reproductive technology, including gestational and traditional surrogacy, egg donation, and embryo donation. She has been a speaker and presenter on various legal topics for adoption and infertility support groups. She is also co-author of “The Adoption Choice”, an article that appeared in Missouri Medicine, a periodical for physicians and other medical professionals. Karen is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois.
