Background
Jennifer joins Krigel, Nugent & Moore after starting her legal career in public service. After a judicial clerkship with the Honorable W. Brent Powell at the Supreme Court of Missouri, she joined the Department of Mental Health. She advised the department on a wide variety of legal matters, including compliance, legislative matters, contracting, and litigation. To best serve her clients, she strives to communicate with clear and accessible language. She approaches every legal problem with practicality and curiosity.
Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri—Kansas City School of Law and graduated summa cum laude. Prior to her legal career, Jennifer obtained a Master’s of Public Health and spent several years working in the nonprofit sector. She currently represents Jackson County on the Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section Council.
Jennifer is a native of the Kansas City area. Outside the office, you can find her chasing her energetic children and vacuuming dog hair. She has never met a sandwich she didn’t like.
