M. Jared Marsh
Attorney
Background
Jared’s practice over the years has been as varied as the issues he’s handled for his clients. He’s represented individuals and businesses in state and federal court in Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma (pro hac vice), as well as arbitrations and administrative matters before state and federal agencies. His practice has included serving as in-house counsel, where he oversaw the human resources, compliance and regulatory departments, along with helping entrepreneurs opening their doors and registering their companies with various states.
Over the last ten years, Jared’s practice has focused on representing businesses and entrepreneurs, working with his clients to protect and defend their businesses in an ever-changing regulatory and economic climate. This includes advising and drafting policies and procedures, as well as defending and initiating litigation to protect business interests.
Jared earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, magna cum laude. He then earned his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, with honors, and served on the UMKC Law Review for two years, authoring two published articles both years.
